The Media Challenge training has kicked off at their headquarters located in Kampala,Kansanga on 05/06/2018.
The training which runs from June to August 2018, will equip trainees from various institutions like Makerere University,UMCAT,Kampala International University and Cavendish University with skills in online communication,Radio and Television Production.

Online Communication will focus on the use of multimedia tools such as computers, internet, digital audio recorders, video recorders, cameras and mobile phones to tell stories.
Television training will help trainees to learn practical skills needed in the contemporary Television industry.
Radio production will focus on hands-on training in crafting of radio programmes on a variety of media platforms in production genres in form news, features and shows.
The trainees who turned up for the first day were excited with how things were proceeding and were speaking fondly about their excitement.
The training is exciting,fun,learnt a lot and looking forward to learn more, said Dorothy Nawajje a student at UMCAT.
The training will be completed with the trainees coming up with a 15-minute production of broadcast standard.
