Joel Ssenyonyi- NTV and Power Fm Media Personality shares his life story: An amazing journey of a media Career

Media Challenge Academy had an opportunity to host Joel Ssenyonyi of NTV and Power FM to share his Journalism career journey during the #SaturdaySpeakerSeries with the trainees at the Academy.

Joel Ssenyon’s rise to a celebrated media personality has been magical and inspirational. From inexperienced media teenager to being a a face of TV Male English news anchor – the journey has been long and worth celebrating.

Starting as a teenager with no media background ,Joel’s passion earned him a place at Uganda Broadcasting Centre (UBC), his journey towards greatness had begun on a right note.

During the round table discussion with the Media Challenge Academy trainees, Joel says his ‘ media life story’ is as a result of hard work, passion and willing to give what your audience want.Its important to have the skills that will help you to perform in your position.

However, Joel revealed some of the challenges in his career.

Despite the challenges in media industry, Joel encourages media trainees to always be focused and pursue the truth at whatever cost.
